After signing to race in the last two F2 races of 2024, Trident Motorsport has announced that they have signed sim racer turned F2 driver, American driver Max Esterson, for a full F2 campaign in 2025.
“The American driver competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for the first time this year, obtaining a sixth place as best result in his debut race in Bahrain. Esterson began his racing career competing in iRacing esports championships when he was only 10 years old, quickly becoming one of the most highly ranked sim drivers in the world. In 2021, he moved to the UK for his first season of real racing where in three seasons he achieved 14 wins, 12 poles and 34 podiums in British Formula Ford and GB3, including becoming the first American to win the world renowned Formula Ford Festival. 2024 saw Esterson move up a class to compete in FIA Formula 3, contesting his first full season in an international series.”
The Sim4STEM collaboration with the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana has been featured on NBC News’ Nightly News: Kids Edition! “This spotlight showcases our shared mission to inspire young women to explore careers in STEM and motorsports through hands-on, experiential learning.”
