Software Developer Turned French F4 driver: Meet Yuval Rosen, Feed Racingโs Latest Winner
Yuval Rosen went from being waitlisted for the Feed Racing scholarship shootout to winning it all two months later. Feeder Series spoke to the 19-year-old sim and real-world racer about how he defeated karting champions despite having little experience of his own to earn himself a fully funded French F4 seat for 2026 last week in Magny-Cours.
โOne guy cancelled for one of the last training courses and we got Yuval on the waiting list,โ Larue explained. โI remember calling Patrick about him. We had no idea who this guy was. He used to do sim racing, so itโs a type of profile we usually like. Julien Soenen was runner-up in 2022; Thomas Scibilia was third in 2021. So we were happy to welcome one more sim racer.โ
Sim Racing to be Counted for Nordschleife License
Max Verstappenโs success in his debut CUP3 race at the Nordschleife has led to Germanyโs motorsport federation re-evaluating its criteria for a DMSB permit to include sim racing.
For the DPN level B, candidates will now be able to count participation in official sim racing competitions of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS). This adjustment applies exclusively to Permit B. Get more details at Autosport here.
Porsche Junior Shootout Use Sim Racing in Selection Process
As part of the Porsche Junior Shootout process, extensive sim racing is used as part of the selection criteria. “Extensive sim racing sessions rounded off the day โ preparation in the simulator has long been a mandatory task for professional racing drivers.”

Ross Bentley of Speed Secrets has announced a Sim Boot Camp. “Balรกzs Remenyik, (I selected him to be the Chief Instructor for my Sim Racer Academy), knows his stuff! As a pro sim racer who is also the sim development driver for the Maserati Formula E team, heโs coached all levels and types of drivers, from novices to pro race drivers like Indy 500-winner Tony Kanaan.
