Max Verstappen Gets Flack for Sim Racing

Max Verstappen has been getting flack for sim racing until 3:00 AM before the Hungarian Grand Prix and I have a roundup of what everybody is yelling about this week. I also have a video review of the inaugural Racing Prodigy draft, how sim racing is good for your mental health and more. It’s all in this week’s edition of the Sim Racing Roundup on Motorsport Prospects.

From Sim Racing to the Real Thing

More controversy over Max Verstappen’s sim racing as he was up until 3:00 AM sim racing before the Hungarian Grand Prix (SportSkeeda has the timeline). Verstappen nor Red Bull boss Christian Horner had any issues with his nocturnal habit but Nico Rosberg and Sky Sport’s David Croft did, apparently to viewers displeasure. And Red Bull insists that his anger on the radio during the race had nothing to do with his late night sim racing session, describing the insinuation as rubbish, although the team and Verstappen have apparently agreed that he will no longer race into the night during Grand Prix weekends. Oh and by the way, his Team Redline won.
