At a Glance
The F4 United States Championship is currently one of only two FIA certified junior development series in North America (the other being the new F3 Americas regional F3 series). It races primarily on the East Coast of the United States. For West Coast drivers, the F4 United States Championship has partnered with the new Formula Pro USA using the same chassis and engines with the intention that it eventually becomes the West Coast edition of the F4 championship.
Car Details
The chassis is the Ligier JS F4 mated to a 2000cc Honda K20 engine detuned to 160hp and supplied by Honda Performance Development. The tires are by Hankook.

- During the press conference announcing new series director Scott Goodyear he indicated his key objective for this season was to help develop young drivers on and off the track in an effort to create more green-flag racing.
Current Season
The 2019 season will take place at 6 iconic American tracks including Road Atlanta, Pittsburgh International Race Complex, Virginia International Raceway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Sebring International Raceway and the Circuit of the Americas.
