Jay Howard Driver Development

Run by active Indy 500 racer Jay Howard, his Jay Howard Driver Development teams race in US Formula 4, USF2000 and Indy Lights in cooperation with Carlin.  They also run a similar program in karting. The teams are strictly focused on young driver development. The intention at JHDD is to build their own development ladder from karts all the way to Indycars.

History

Jay Howard Driver Development evolved from a karting team to take on US Formula 4 and then in 2019 USF2000.

Notes of Interest

• Team Principal Jay Howard was the 2006 Indy Lights champion and has raced in the Indy 500 four times.
• Notable alumni of JHDD are Spencer Pigot, Kyle Kirkwood, Jacob Abel, Braden Eves and David Malukas.
