Interestingly after I talked about the Revolution A One in the last Weekly Debrief, a 2020 Revolution A One race car is now listed for sale in the Motorsport Prospects Marketplace and it is located in the United States which is a bit of a rarity. Listed by the P1 Groupe, it is quite literally revolutionary.
An Introduction to the Revolution A One
The Revolution A-One is built in the UK and was designed and built by racers for racers. This car is one of a handful of Revolutions for sale in the USA. At Silverstone GPC the Revolution A-one has timed a 1.58.9 with a driver new to the car. For reference, the fastest 2020 race laps in the GT Cup (Lamborghini Huracan GT3) and Radical Challenge SR3 were 2:04. At Circuits of the Americas Formula 1 track in Austin, the Revolution A-one has run 2:09 after 3 laps, again with a driver new to the car. Get on track today in this track day monster!

Where Can I Race?
Currently there are no organized Revolution Racing Series in North America so this would remain a track day car this side of the pond. As I mentioned in last week’s Weekly Debrief:
Revolution are actively building a thriving racing series in the UK as part of the UK Sports Prototype Championship and they have supported Formula 1 on their last two trips to Portimão in Portugal so their reputation is growing.
Motorsport Prospects Weekly Debrief for May 28, 2021 – Small Deals are Big Deals
With that being said, Revolution are growing quickly so expect the cars to start racing outside the UK and Europe sooner rather than later. Either way this car would be a monster at a track day!
