McLaren Technology Centre Installs Dynisma DMG-1 Simulator

McLaren Automotive has installed a Dynisma Motion Generator (DMG) at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK. The DMG-1 simulator, which has already been integrated into the W1 development program, marks the expansion of the auto maker’s virtual development capabilities, enabling the acceleration of prototype programs and improving vehicle performance.
The partnership with Dynisma brings Formula 1-level simulation capabilities with ultra-low latency and high bandwidth to McLaren Automotive. The DMG-1 enables engineers and test drivers to virtually experience the same scenarios they would face on proving grounds and circuits worldwide.

How Cadillac’s Race Simulations Have Made It Ready for F1 2026
Cadillac is leaving no stone unturned to be ready for its big Formula 1 debut in 2026. As a team without a car, F1’s 11th entrant is resorting to the virtual world to get ready for the big time.
“The reasoning behind Cadillac’s intensive race simulations is simple. As it enters F1 under a new regulations cycle and doesn’t have a car to run or even test, the Graeme Lowdon led squad is trying to prepare in every other area it can to hit the ground running as it turns up for its Melbourne debut in March. Facing the might of the established 10 teams, Cadillac is facing a huge challenge as it is, so every little bit helps.”
Bortoleto Explains How Home Sim Helped Learning New F1 tracks
Gabriel Bortoleto expands on his sim work and how it has helped him knowing tracks like Montreal and China, while Nico Hulkenberg shares the other view. “He recalls doing nearly 500 laps on sim while in competition with his friends, which excludes 90 odd laps on team’s simulator to learn a new circuit. It came handy in China and Canada, where when he had his first run in FP1, he already felt to have done good number of laps and it needed less laps to adjust.”
‘Mr Nürburgring’ Misha Charoudin and Novus Racing Simulators Set to Star at SimRacing Expo 2025
This year’s SimRacing Expo is set to feature the ‘King of the Nürburgring’ Misha Charoudin, as he joins the Novus Racing Simulators stand as brand ambassador. Charoudin, who made his name on YouTube by driving a host of exotic (and not-so-exotic!) cars to their maximum potential around the ‘ring, will be joined by some as yet unnamed ‘co-drivers’, kicking off a Time Attack-style competition.
How Connor Zilisch Met Max Verstappen Thanks to SVG’s iRacing Connection
Rising NASCAR superstar Connor Zilisch explains how he met Max Verstappen through a bond forged in iRacing. “Their bond wasn’t built on PR opportunities. It was built on late nights, virtual paint schemes, and a shared, raw passion for competition.”Shane is actually pretty good friends with Max,” Zilisch said. “SVG and Max were teammates on iRacing. So, they became close friends… he invited me to dinner with him and Max, and I got to meet Max and talk to him and get to know him better.”
