Every week I bring you a variety of cars from their constantly expanding selection that catch my eye with information on how you may purchase any of those that are featured.

Here are this week’s selections of Race & Road Cars for Sale. These are truly cars racers can use.

1966 Lola T70 Mk2 Spyder

This 1966 Lola T70 Mk2 Spyder SL71/33 was built in June of 1966 as a MKII Spyder with Group 7 specifications and was delivered to Lola US Importer, John Mecom Racing. It was fitted with a 333 CID Chevrolet small block and a Hewland LG500 gearbox, number 73. It was painted all white and sold to Don Skogmo of the United States. Don added blue flashes to the car and entered it in the ’66 Mid-Ohio USSRC, where he and Scotty Beckett split driving duties. They finished 11th.

In 1990 the car was sold to a prominent car collector and racer in California. Under the collectors ownership, the car underwent a complete restoration, which was completed in November of 2010. The car then succeeded in its first test run at Willow Springs Raceway in mid-January. The car was then raced during the historic races at Phillips Island, Australia, as well as the Monterey Historics in 2011.The Lola was purchased in 2012 by the current owner, who raced it in the Lime Rock Historics that same year, placing first.

1969 McLaren Formula 5000 Chassis M10B 400 – 16(A)

This 1969 McLaren Formula 5000 Chassis M10B 400, based on its predecessor the M10A, was lighter and allowed the installation of a dry sump system. Only 21 M10B’s were built and went on to win 4 International championships between 1970 and 1974. Car 400-16 was raced in the 1971 and 1972 South African National Championship by Paddy Driver. In 1972 the car crashed at Killarney, was rebuilt and is subsequently known as chassis 400-16A. It resurfaced in the early nineties when it was completely restored by Simon Hadfield and raced by Sean Mooney in HSCC events. In 2001 the car was brought back to its original South African livery and raced again in HSCC before moving to an important Belgian collection.

1971 Chevron B19 B19-71-29

In 1984 the late Roger Andreason, Managing Director of Chevron Heritage Ltd convinced Ray Bellm to commission a new chassis for the 1985 season and this 1971 Chevron B19 B19-71-29 was the result. Bellm, a well-known historic racer, Co-founder of Spice Engineering and BRDC Chairman went on to win the 1985 HSCC Failsafe GT Championship, the Silverstone Club race and the Brands Hatch GP Circuit race. In more recent years the car was meticulously maintained by Provily Racing of The Netherlands and benefits from a recent engine inspection / part rebuild. The car comes with a recent letter from The Masters Series confirming eligibility for most of their races.

2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2

This 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 has 8300KM on the engine since the last rebuild. It raced in the Italian GT Championship for 3 seasons. It features a newly rebuilt gearbox, 5.2L V10, 550hp mated to a 6-Speed Automated Manual with AWD.

2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport

This 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport comes with MR 100lt tank and dual master servos, avery rare find and a $13k option. Seller can produce all receipts (servicing was every 250km and extensive, Porsche Motorsport and supported Shop in Germany) with an spares/extras list. It has 5800 miles on the odometer.

1997 1/2 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster

This week’s road car is a 1997 ½ Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster finished in Fly Yellow over Nero Leather and Period Styled MOMO Seats. Build date 6/1997. Chassis #12805. With 35,500 KM (21,530 miles) showing and backed up with Clean CarFax and maintenance records. Powered by Lamborghini’s iconic 5.7 Liter V-12 engine and backed by their all-wheel-drive system with 5-Speed Manual Gated Transmission. Believed to be one of just 132 Diablo VT Roadsters built for the US market between 1997 and 1999.
