Racing Bulls F1 Unveil Groundbreaking Fuel Cell plant
Visa Cash App Racing Bulls have announced the official inauguration of its state-of-the-art cogeneration Fuel Cell plant in Faenza, marking a major milestone in sustainable innovation for motorsport. This pioneering project, developed in cooperation with the official supplier CEFLA and in full alignment with the sustainability objectives of Red Bull, Formula 1, and the FIA, represents a significant investment in advanced technology that unites sporting excellence, environmental stewardship and long-term economic value.
Located within the 14,500-square-metre “Racing Bulls Green Energy Park” adjacent to the main headquarters, the new facility integrates a cutting-edge photovoltaic plant and a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) – NOVA SOLUTION by Cefla – directly powered by certified biomethane sourced from local partners. This synergy not only ensures a reliable and self-sufficient energy supply for the Faenza site but also supports the development of local skills and partnerships, in line with the Sustainable Cities and Communities ESG Agenda.
The high technology Fuel Cell enables an average annual production of 4.6 GWh of zero-carbon electricity. Its efficiency is further enhanced by heat recovery, which entirely covers the site’s heating needs, while the system’s water-free operation preserves a vital resource and minimizes environmental impact. As a result, the plant significantly reduces emissions, eliminates noise pollution, and sets a new benchmark for energy efficiency in the sector.
Motorsport Australia Maintains Three-Star FIA Environmental Rating
Motorsport Australia will continue its standing as an ASN leader in environmentally efficient head office operations, securing a three-star level certification within FIA Environmental Accreditation Program.
The FIA conducted an audit in January 2026 to determine Motorsport Australia had continued to show strong commitment to environmental management and sustainability.
Motorsport Australia CEO Josh Blanksby said the commitment to the FIA’s Environmental Accreditation Program remains a priority.
“It is a certification we are proud of as an organisation, and by achieving a high standard within the program’s framework, this is a clear marker of Motorsport Australia’s commitment to meaningful, measurable environmental action,” Blanksby said.
Nikita Bedrin Hopeful GB3 Season Can Propel Him to Formula E Future
Once a rising star in Formula 4 and an F3 race winner, Nikita Bedrin took a step back in 2025 to FR Europe for a campaign that yielded just two visits to the podium. As he moves over to GB3 for 2026, the DS Penske development driver told Feeder Series about how he’s hoping to rejuvenate his career and push himself towards a full-time seat in Formula E.
“There are a lot of things that are out of my control which don’t let me have an open path to Formula 1 right now, so we need to be a bit more open with where I could end up,” he said. “Unless you have massive sponsors backing you up, I don’t think you can get anywhere far right now. Whoever pays more gets the best equipment as well. It’s getting very political right now.”

“A day in the office involves any number of meetings, combined with following up on topics with various people from different departments in the project, and then depending on the timing, either post-event work or pre-event preparation. At the racetrack, it’s a completely different kettle of fish. First and foremost, I’m keen to ensure that everybody is healthy, a lot of things can happen when you’re away and travelling and not in the comfort of your home. Then it’s really primarily ensuring that everybody is working in the right direction, to their maximum and ensuring that we stay motivated and communicate well with one another.”
First-Ever Sodikart SWS E-Regional Cup in the US Makes Debut at RPM Raceway
RPM Raceway announced it will serve as the official host of the first-ever SWS E-Regional Cup. The event is organized by Sodikart, which has selected RPM Raceway to bring this international competition to the U.S.
The SWS E-Regional Cup will take place on March 22, 2026, from 8-11 a.m., at RPM’s Long Island location and represents the final opportunity within the Sodi World Series (SWS) to qualify for the SWS E-Finals 2026, the international championship held in Sicily, Italy, June 11–13, 2026. Drivers from around the world will have the opportunity to compete at RPM Raceway, with the top finishers earning guaranteed tickets to the SWS International e-finals, company officials stated in a press release.
RPM Raceway says that it was selected as the U.S. host venue by Sodikart for its proven leadership in electric karting and elite competitive racing programs. This competition highlights a broader movement to bring competitive karting to more drivers and make racing more accessible, noted the release. The qualifier reflects the RPM Raceway’s mission to democratize the sport and provide drivers of all experience levels the opportunity to compete at the highest level of electric motorsports, in alignment with Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Karting.
“This event is a huge moment not just for RPM Raceway, but for electric karting in the U.S.,” said CEO Andrew Farage. “Hosting the first-ever SWS E-Regional Cup gives drivers from all over the world a true gateway to the global stage, and it reinforces RPM’s commitment to making elite-level racing more accessible.”

Brazil’s Truck Racing Series Switches to 100% Renewable Biofuel
Brazil’s Copa Truck series has switched to 100% renewable biofuel for this year’s campaign after confirming a partnership with the country’s leading energy company Be8, in a move that positions it at the forefront of sustainable motor sport at national level in South America.
The product, which has already been trialled during pre-season testing, delivers the same performance levels while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 99%, taking into account the entire lifecycle — from harvesting and production to its use in competition.
