UPDATE (June 11, 2021): This car has now been sold.
As I announced last week, Motorsport Prospects has a new service called the Marketplace where you can buy and sell race cars and high end road vehicles. As part of this new initiative I will be featuring race cars from the Marketplace on the blog in order to highlight them for either the opportunity to race them now (in a current GT or club race series or in historic racing), for their historical racing heritage or just to spotlight the sheer beauty of the car. In the spirit of full disclosure, I do get commissions for purchases made through links in this post and on the Marketplace.
This week the Marketplace features the amazing 2019 McLaren 570S GT4 from my friends at Speed Club Racing in Texas. Aside from the fact that it looks stunning just standing still, this McLaren is beautifully prepared and ready to race now. The car is either for sale or lease but Speed Club Racing also offers another option. They can offer a lease & support program during the 2021 season in SRO-Pirelli GT4 America, IMSA-Michelin Pilot Challenge, GT Celebration or Trans Am.
After talking to Speed Club Racing’s Paul Charsley this week, it became quite clear to me that not only does Speed Club Racing know how to prepare this car due to their extensive experience with McLaren, but they also want to see this car perform well on the track and this offer gives you the opportunity to do just that.
According to McLaren:
The 570S GT4 is a full competition specification GT4 car that’s ready to race straight from the factory.

At the core, an immensely strong, feather light carbon fibre chassis – the MonoCell II. Power comes from a specially developed 3.8 litre twin-turbocharged McLaren V8, linked to the race-ready 7-speed transmission.
This is safety and exhilaration seamlessly combined.
If you are looking for something to take GT racing today, you could not find a better prepared, race-ready car to race on the track. Full details can be found here.
Speaking of Paul and Speed Club Racing, with his extensive background in global sports car racing I chatted with Paul for quite a while about racing. We talked about what it takes to be a successful “gentleman” driver, what makes endurance racing so thrilling and why sports cars are the perfect career choice for the young driver. Look for that conversation to appear soon on the Motorsport Prospects blog.
That’s it for this installment of “In the Motorsport Prospects Marketplace.” Look for another edition next month. And if you are the one that takes advantage of this opportunity, please make sure to get in touch so we can follow your exploits on the track and update the story with your tales of racing glory.
To the podium!
