From Sim Racing to the Real Thing
DragonSpeed Ferrari 296 GT3 Use iRacing to Prepare for 2025 IMSA Championship Fight

In a preview of the last race of the IMSA, RACER magazine points out how the DragonSpeed Ferrari 296 GT3 has used iRacing to prepare for their debut season. “It’s something of a David vs. Goliath battle between the ultimate powerhouse of 21st century GT racing, and an upstart alliance between DragonSpeed and Risi Competizione, a crew that only did its first real-world test in recent weeks after using iRacing to prepare for each event.”
Micah Mixer is Using Sim Racing to Pursue His NASCAR Dreams

Micah Mixer is hoping to make it to NASCAR one day and he is using sim racing as a way to prepare for that dream. “A lot of the top drivers really get into Sim Racing,” Mixer said. “It helps them practice without being out on the track. A lot of the stuff in Sim Racing transfers over to real racing. One of the F4 racing champions got that through Sim Racing.”
Racing Prodigy Claims to Have Solved Motorsports’ Cost Problem

The video above discusses how the Prodigy Racing League tackles the high costs of motorsports. The PRL uses esports competitions to identify talented drivers, offering a funded pathway to professional racing. Learn how this innovative league levels the playing field for aspiring racers worldwide.
Gran Turismo and Dunlop Partner to Improve Tire Simulation

Not only will Dunlop provide technology to Gran Turismo 7 developer Polyphony Digital, but the game creators will help simulate the future of tire development for the manufacturer. “Having this partnership with Dunlop, we’re hoping that they will be able to convey some of their technology to us, and at the same time, for us to provide the simulation technology that may open new worlds for the development of tyres and cars.”
