With the 2026 edition now upon us, the prestigious award is now accepting applications from individuals aged 18 to 23 who are pursuing careers in automotive or motorsports journalism, public relations, marketing, sales, business development, or sponsorship. The application window will close on February 18, 2026.

Christian Rasmussen Working to Clear Million-Dollar Debt Incurred in IndyCar Journey

Ed Carpenter Racing driver Christian Rasmussen is working towards repaying a seven-figure debt he incurred in sponsoring his racing career up to IndyCar. The Danish racer had a breakthrough season in IndyCar in 2025, his second year in the series.
“The 25-year-old admitted that his debt was in the seven figures, aka, in millions, and that he owed money to his parents, a Danish investor, and to someone in the US. Fortunately, Rasmussen didn’t have to fund his IndyCar seat, with ECR paying him as a professional racer.”
