The Skip Barber Simulator Center is now open and in this week’s Sim Racing Roundup you will find all the details. I also have thoughts from F1 rookie Gabriel Bortoleto, racecraft tips, tech news and more!
From Sim Racing to the Real Thing

Kick Sauber rookie Gabriel Bortoleto is the next driver on the list to face F1.com’s quickfire Getting to Know questions. From his heroes growing up to his best friends in the F1 paddock today, and his worst travel experience to the other sport he loves, the Brazilian shares all in the website video player and transcript here.
“Well, I started playing a lot of video games with Max (Verstappen), and then simulator as well when I was in F3. Early, early season in F3, so in January, February we started practising. We have a very nice group of friends that we all play games together and do the sim – his team, Team Redline, that I’m an ambassador for. Great people there, and that’s how everything started. Since then, we’ve spent a lot of time together playing games, and it’s been very enjoyable.”

The Skip Barber Simulator Center is now open! At the Skip Barber Simulator Center, you can drive world-famous tracks in ultra-realistic racing sims—no experience needed.
Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, compete with friends, or just have some fun, our cutting-edge motion simulators and expert guidance make it easy to get started. It’s fast, it’s exciting, and it’s as close to the real thing as it gets.
