MotiV8 Training explains a technique on how to practice visualization by using YouTube in order to build up your muscle memory. “Muscle memory is the automatic response and actions when you are ‘in the zone’… when you don’t have to think about technique, your muscles just do what they have learnt. Like walking, no one can explain to me consciously what is the first action or muscle to move is when you walk. Yet we trust we know what to do when we need to, if we were to walk consciously every day, we would be like a child learning to walk, constantly falling over.” Read how to accomplish this technique here.

Race Car & Series Developments

RACER reports that Lexus preparing new GT3 model that is set to debut in 2026. “We’re working to develop the next generation of sports cars, including a new GT3 race car,” Lexus Motorsports senior manager Jeff Bal told RACER. “At this point in the development stage, we are unable to provide any further details.”
The TCR Australia Series have introduced the Kumho Cup for the 2025 season, with reduced entry costs and tire incentives designed to draw more of the older generation cars to the grid. It is designed to allow privateer drivers and teams the opportunity to compete on a national and global stage, while maintaining an attainable budget. Professional outfits are eligible to enter the Kumho Cup, but eligibility will be reviewed throughout the season based on round results.

Touring Car Times reports that the Belo Horizonte street race will join the 2025 TCR South America calendar on August 16-17 in Brazil. “Our presence at the BH Stock Festival is another step towards the growth and consolidation of the category on the South American scene, offering a differentiated experience to our partners, at a circuit that is both fast and challenging,” said Federico Punteri, president of TCR South America.

Will a new three-cylinder engine revive traditional F3 in Europe? That si the question posed by Autosport as it looks at the 2025 introduction of the TOM’S TGE33 in the Euroformula Open championship.
“What makes this engine substantially different to anything that has gone before is that the TOM’S TGE33 is based on the 1.6-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged G16E-GTS out of the Toyota GR Yaris road car. Finally, the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, air-restricted racing engines – in Europe, the mainstays have been Spiess (formerly badged as Volkswagen in the old European F3 days) and HWA (Mercedes) – in use since 2014 are being pensioned off.“
