Porsche Carrera World Cup Is Set for Barcelona

The second-ever Porsche Carrera World Cup will be staged at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in March, nearly fifteen years after the inaugural running of the event on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The March 5-8 event will bring together teams and drivers from the nearly 40 national and regional Carrera Cups and Porsche Sports Clubs, as well as those also competing in Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.

Only the Type-992.1 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car will be eligible, which Porsche has produced more than 1,100 examples since its debut in 2020.

The next generation FIA Formula Regional car has been unveiled in Monza, as the Tatuus T-326 that is set to take to the track in the 2026 FIA Formula Regional European Championship was presented by representatives of the FIA, ACI and Tatuus ahead of the final round of the current campaign.

Subject to FIA homologation, the car has been built to the latest specification set by the FIA, which follows extensive research and development by the FIA’s Technical and Safety Department, as well as significant updates by the FIA’s aerodynamicists that follow the design philosophy that has been developed for the pinnacle of motor sport – the FIA Formula One World Championship.
