Maserati Previews Project GT4 at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026
Maserati unveiled Project GT4 for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026: a new project developed by Maserati Corse to bring the technical, stylistic and engineering DNA of the New GranTurismo to the track. Designed to enter one of the most dynamic international GT categories, the car leverages the experience gained with Maserati GT2 and was created with a specific objective: to get back on the track in 2028 with a competitive project to aspire to victory and to confirm the role of Corse as a workshop of innovation for the brand.
“Project GT4 represents a natural step in the evolution of the Maserati Corse programme and completes our vision for the future of GT racing,” said Vincent Biard, head of Maserati Corse.
Barcelona, Monza Replace Middle East Rounds
Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona and Autodromo Nazionale Monza have been confirmed as the final two rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship season, replacing Qatar and Bahrain amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
ADAC Launches 24H Nürburgring Series
ADAC Nordrhein has announced plans for a new championship based on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, with the ADAC 24H Nürburgring Series set to launch in 2027. The inaugural season is set to be made up of six races across five events, all run according to the regulations of the 24H Nürburgring and on the 24-hour variant of the famous Nordschleife, which skips the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
The calendar will include a new 24H Nürburgring Prologue, as well as the traditional 24H Nürburgring Qualifiers and ADAC 24H Nürburgring itself. The season will then conclude with the ADAC Eifelrennen and ADAC 1000km.
FIA-Certified German F4 Series to Launch in 2027
Germany’s official Formula 4 championship is back. From 2027, the FIA-certified F4 German Championship will provide young drivers with a professional platform to begin their single-seater careers. Organized by GEDLICH Racing, the series will primarily race alongside the DTM, while also offering an unprecedented €500,000 Prize Gold initiative to help the next generation progress.
RFEDA Launches Eurocup-5
The Royal Spanish Motorsports Federation de Automovilismo continues to strengthen the development pyramid of Spanish motorsport with the creation of Eurocup-5, a new national circuit championship that will debut in the 2027 season and was created, following decisions adopted on July 1 by the Board of Directors and the Delegate Commission, with a clearly defined goal: to facilitate access for the best drivers coming from karting to single-seater competition through a sustainable, equitable, cost-contained sporting model.

Tatuus TT-326 and T-421 Set to Star in the 2026 FIA World Cups
The FIA has officially confirmed the adoption of Tatuus single-seaters for the 2026 Formula Regional and Formula 4 World Cups. From 19 to 22 November, 13 teams in Formula Regional and 12 teams in Formula 4 will battle on the iconic Guia Circuit. For the T-326, this will mark its debut in Macau, following the T-318’s appearances in the Formula Regional World Cup in 2024 and 2025. For the T-421, it will be a welcome return after making its Macau debut in the Formula 4 World Cup in 2023.
