SCCA’s John Hunter began his motorsports career on the autocross course but has since added Time Attack to the mix, and through the years has experienced benefits for doing both. Race Car & Series Developments

After a preliminary launch at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, SRO America has officially unveiled its its finalized 2026 race calendar, featuring seven events and a new venue. RACER has the full details here. The SRO America has more details on the series and the deadlines to race in it here.
The 2026 GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS calendar is now complete following confirmation of several dates and circuits. It builds on the draft schedule originally released in late June at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa where the dates and destinations of Asia’s first three events – Sepang (Malaysia), Mandalika (Indonesia) and Shanghai (China), which returns to the calendar after a one-year hiatus – were announced. The ADAC has officially revealed the 2026 DTM calendar, which comprises of eight race weekends and sees the Red Bull Ring host the season opener for the first time.
The Radical World Finals will be supporting the inaugural North American Veterans Race of Remembrance on November 6-9, 2025. This USAC-sanctioned event is the first of its kind in North America and promises to become a significant fixture on the US motorsport calendar. Bringing together top-tier drivers, teams, and high-performance cars, participants will tackle one of America’s most iconic road courses. Full details can be found here.
The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli announces its 2026 schedule for its 60th anniversary season. As the longest-running professional road racing series in North America celebrates six decades of competition, the National Championship will visit 10 bucket list venues across the United States and Canada, while the Western Championship will feature a five-race schedule at three iconic tracks.

Bajaj, which has bought out KTM, wants the brand to focus on motorcycles, so it’s sold KTM Sportcar GmbH to a separate group of investors, hopefully saving the X-Bow sports car. KTM will continue to license its name and be involved with the X-Bow in some way, but KTM Sportcar GmbH will run independently of the main company.
