As I build up Motorsport Prospects for a winter launch, I just wanted to briefly fill you in on what I am up to. This week I will talk about the way the site is organized, the types of interviews the site will feature and why you have to register to take full advantage of the site features.
The site will be organized into multiple listings with sub-sections. Currently there are 3 types of listings; Teams, Series and Services. More will be added as the site grows.
- Teams – Currently focused on single-series but soon to include other types of racing. Here you will find all the pertinent contact information necessary, the series that the team races in and eventually, my take on their competitiveness.
- Series – Again currently focused on single-series but soon to include sports, stock and touring cars as well as motorcycle racing. The focus here is on development series for young drivers and riders.
Because Motorsport Prospects is focused on young racers and their development, it is important that they get exposure to resources and ideas they may not otherwise have access to so I am building up a stable of interesting and informative interviews that will help a young driver as they forge their motorsport career. Currently I am looking at interviewing prominent professionals in motorsport fitness, coaching, management and driver development. Each of these interviews will offer useful information for all racers and hopefully I will be able to convince some of them to write regular columns.
Motorsport Prospects’ DNA is helping young racers get established in motorsport with authoritative and helpful resources. It will continue to be added to, will be global in scope and will always be neutral and independent. That is my commitment to you. I hope it helps you to go faster and to build a sustainable career in motorsport.
See you at the track.
