Oliver Rowland has revealed that working with a sports psychologist has given him a significant boost ahead of, and during, the current FIA Formula E season, and says he relishes being the underdog of the championship.
“Mentally, it was very tough. I’ve been working with a sports psychologist throughout the last six months, which I think has helped me massively in regaining my confidence and focus on the job in hand.”
The Red Bull website looks at the peak performance: the fitness secrets of F1 drivers. “For driver and machine to become as lightweight and aerodynamic as possible together, F1 drivers try not to put on a lot of muscle mass. Verstappen trains mostly working with his own body weight, meaning that his training is also made up of going on easy runs, doing free weight exercises as well as body weight training.”

Well, yes, I hold several, but, as Motorsport-Akademie’s Christopher Bartz explains “The Nürburgring doesn’t care what license you have, or if you’re an F1 champion. Before you compete there you must complete their specific training. There are so many special rules, and additional safety measures that the track demands an additional permit.””

The top 5 drivers in the championship after round three in Queensland will have automatic selection to take part in the Ferrari Driver Academy selection camp at Sepang International Circuit on September 17-19. The FIA certified championship offers great value for money with a five event, 15 race series held at iconic Australian tracks. The Bend hosts two events with one apiece at Queensland Raceway and Sydney Motorsport Park. The series ends at Sepang in Malaysia. Eurasia has a long history of developing young drivers with several going on to race in Formula One.
The P1 Groupe has drives available in 2024 including in SRO GT America for Bronze rated drivers or in SRO GT4 America for Pro/Am, Silver or Am driving lineups in the McLaren Artura GT4.
